I’ve known Velga for many years. She was generous, kind and talented with a terrific sense of humour. She and Harry contributed so much to the Latvian community. I will miss her laugh, her presence. You knew she was in the room. May she rest in peace
My deep sympathies to you Maris, your younger brothers and to your entire extended family. Being of Lithuanian ancestry in essence cousins to Latvia, I greatly appreciate your mother's brave contributions in life. May she rest in peace.
Condolences go out to The Jansons Clan (family) and friends.
Special thoughts are with The Brencis and Janson family whom I have known for almost 60 years and both families are dearly loved and admired.
Harry and my late father served together in Italy during Workd War II.
It is very true that we are separated by six degrees and what a small world it really is.
The saying that life is too short is true but more importantly what a person did during that precious time.
Jelga left a legacy behind and a special place in each of our hearts like her artistic talents did.
Wishing you a blessed journey and until we meet again one day !!!!!
Dear Mrs Velga Jansons,
Although we never met, I have worked and became friend with your son Karlis. And what a son you've manufactured! Through him, I see the great values you believe in, and the relentless pursuit of wisdom and happiness you've instilled in him.
Rest in peace, Mrs Velga, because you live through other lives you've touched.
From my family to yours, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. She will always be remembered in our minds and hearts.
