Vasilije "Vaso" Vujicic

Vasilije “Vaso” Vujicic passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 92. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years Nada, his daughter Vera, his sons Milos (Sonja) and Marko (Zana), his grandchildren Anastasija, Aleksandar, Luka, Nemanja and Adriana, along with three generations of extended family who will all miss him dearly. Vaso fled his native Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada in 1957 in search of a better life. Throughout his days, his faith in God and his eternal optimism were at the core of all he did and inspired those around him. May his memory be eternal.

Friends may call Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto) from 5-8 pm Tuesday. Funeral Service to be held at St. Michael the Archangel Serbian Orthodox Church (212 Delaware Avenue, Toronto) at 10 am Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Interment York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Rd, Toronto). Memorial luncheon at the church hall to follow.
