Vasil George (Bill) Boncheff

July 16, 1940 - December 30, 2018

Passed away suddenly at his home in Brampton on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Husband of Carol McAlister, father to Bill (Minky), Debbie (Mike), and Susy (Matthew). Grandfather to Zachary, Althea, Rachel, Julia, Justin, and Andrew. Stepfather to Ted (Becky), Ben (Emilie), Lisa (Ed), and Lori (John). Step-grandfather to Alex, Rhys, Alexandra, and Joshua. Brother to George (Raina), Tom (Debbie), Nancy (Paul), and the late Chris (Lynda). Son of the late George Christo Boncheff and Stoyanka Boncheff of Boncheff Greenhouses.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by all. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sick Kids or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of so very many of your friends and your church family when I say that I am heartbroken at your loss. Your family has endured so much terrible suffering, and the loss of Bill is the worst blow yet. We are surrounding you with love, with warm healing prayers, and with ongoing heartfelt concern. God bless you as you celebrate his good life, and may we your friends who love you find ways to be present to your hurt. We do love you.
