It's difficult to get used to the realization that my 'little' sister is gone. I have fond memories of our childhood together and many more that extend through to the end of her life. Jennifer and I will never stop remembering her and missing her presence.

As a child, Aunt Val was my aunt that was always laughing. As a youth Aunt Val was so supportive and helped by providing me with summer jobs...and was always laughing....as an adult, although we didn't see each other enough, when we did, there was always a good laugh involved. I will miss your laugh Aunt Val.

It is with a very heavy heart to hear that my Dear Friend Val has left us for the Angels in the Sky.
We called ourselves "The Ladies Knitting Club" and it was the best and we shared so many good times and laughs.
My heart goes out to Michelle, Gordon and David. Be strong and know you were blessed to have such a Dear Mother and she loved you all very much.
She will be forever in our hearts and truly missed.
My Heartfelt Condolences, Sharon

My deepest condolences to Val's family; I only met Val twice but we were fast friends from the 1st meeting. I will miss sending her jokes via email as I received them as I knew she always loved them. She was a rare jewel in the crown of life. Cheryl

I Really Miss You When You're Not Here to Join Me In Person and i Love You Very Much and You Gave Me The Best Hugs Ever and you were not only my favourite Mother Of all time you were the glue that held the fort down because that meant i enjoyed the way you would always make me laugh every time you would ask me a question that you had for me . I was always free to ask me what you were thinking about doing for dinner and that is always the best sign of being a good mother just like jann arden said in her song of the same name. and you would always ask me if there was anything on your face book and keep reaching for the stars mac because that would always remind of the animated tv show Alf RI P your favorite loving companion David Clark Yarley XOXO
