Peacefully passed away, at Etobicoke General Hospital, on Friday, September 15, 2022, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Robin Alexander. Loving mother of Hazel Giallo and Lynette Rodrigues. Loving grandma of Alex, Andrew, Eric and Justin. Dear sister of Jean, Edwin and Victor. Valerie will be remembered for her loving and generous spirit. She will be greatly missed by family, relatives and friends. May her blessed soul rest in peace.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Friday Sept 23, 2022, viewing hours are from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish on 11 Peter St. Mississauga at 11am on Saturday 24, 2022. Interment will take place directly after at Assumption Cemetery at 6933 Tomken Rd Mississauga. Light reception to follow at the Mississauga Convention Center, 75 Derry Rd West, Mississauga. For those who wish, donations may be made to any Catholic Charity.

My dearest mum and Nonna

Mum I will miss you very much, our sweet times together how we laughed and enjoyed a coffee together and so many other memories will remain in my heart forever .I love you .
Mum You were such a strong , loving and caring person . I will never forget you all the things you told me and your strength and personality . I appreciate and loved all you did for me . I will always love you and I will pray for you in heaven .

Nonna thank you for being our grandmother you taught us to love and be respectful to everyone and to always pray your love will remain in our hearts forever we loved you very much .
