In Celebration of

Tony Albernaz

September 1, 1960 -  May 23, 2024

It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my husband and best friend Tony. On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Tony passed holding my hand and surrounded by his loving family. Tony will be missed by his mom Maria, brother Johnny (Elizabeth), sister Ana (Ian), brother-in-law Michael (Antonietta), his nieces Amy, Sabrina, and Samantha, nephews Elliott and Andrew.

On his passing Tony was reunited with his dad, Antonio, and his in-laws, Cosmo and Giuseppina.

Tony leaves behind many treasured friends and extended family. Too many to mention, but ever grateful to have shared in his life.

Tony, rest in peace and may you “rise up” to be greeted by the angels sitting on the 50 yard line.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Monday, May 27, 2024 from 4-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM.

Interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Liver Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or Heart & Stroke Foundation.

A smart, funny, and hardworking guy. We met through work nearly 35 years ago. The happiest I ever saw Tony was when he told me he was engaged to Franca. Not saying, it was down hill from there (wink wink), but Tony seldom shared anything personal, but on that day he radiated joy, love, and life.

Tony forever kind, thoughtful, respectful, and tolerant of us 'girls'. Always thought there'd be more time for get togethers in our retirement. Tony, you are missed but never forgotten, Janet
