Timothy James "Tim" Lidstone

February 19, 1964 - September 5, 2020

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy James Lidstone in Etobicoke on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the age of 56.

Beloved partner of Carole Robinson for 11 years. Loving father of Kyle Lidstone (Kendal Prinsen), Tyler Lidstone (Emily Dawson), and Melissa Lidstone. Dear son of Jean Mulholland and Philip Lidstone, and stepson to Philip Mulholland. Much loved brother of Stephen Lidstone and Bonnie Lidstone (Martin) (husband Alfonso Martin).

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Tim relocated with family to the Greater Toronto Area in the late 1970's. He was previously married to Melody Davidson before settling with Carole. Tim was tremendously proud of his three children.

Tim had a long career in the film industry in Toronto (special effects, IATSE 873), and enjoyed friends, laughter, music, fishing, and family celebrations.

Tim was hard working, creative, caring and sensitive, and always ready to help others at a moment's notice. He is sadly missed by family and friends.

A private celebration of Tim's life will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel.

To say this was too young is an understatement.
To Tim's family, may the peace and comfort of God surround you all in such a substantial way that you would all know that you do not walk alone ... and neither does he.
