It is with sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of Thomas (Tommy) Chehadi, devoted husband of the late Sandra Chehadi, cherished father of Michael and his wife Megan, and proud grandfather to Mateo, the joy and light of his life. Tommy passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025.

Born in Hasroun, Lebanon, Tommy immigrated to Canada, where he built a life grounded in hard work, unwavering faith, and devotion to his loved ones. A generous soul, he was known for his kind heart, warm hospitality, and the deep sense of community he fostered throughout his life.

Tommy was a beloved brother to Tony (predeceased), Georgette (predeceased), Marie, Rene, and Nellie, and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Family meant everything to him, and he especially treasured family dinners, where delicious food, a few scotches, stories, laughter, and love were always in abundance.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.


Visitation will take place at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel on Sunday, September 21st, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lebanon Church on Monday, September 22nd, at 11:00 a.m., with the interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga.

In Tommy’s memory, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
