I am saddened to learn of Terry's death. We met in New Zealand in 1972 (or 1973) and Terry met me and put me up when I arrived in Toronto in 1974. Then he got me into the house at 10 Carson Crescent, with Allen Coates and Roy Chapman. Then he introduced me to HBM&S in 1978 when I needed a job (after Opera School). What a friend he was so kind and helpful and always there when needed. I could never repay such kindness, but it is remembered and appreciated (and I try to pass it on).
Warmest thoughts and prayers to Janet and Terry's girls and families.
Janet, so saddened to hear of Terry's passing. He will truly be missed by All who knew him. I will remember Terry as a loyal, kind & compassionate man, a wonderful boss, a true mentor and a friend. May his gracious smile continue to shine bright in your hearts as you grieve his loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your beautiful Girls at this time Janet.
The entire Lavery clan grieve the loss of a very fine individual and extend our sincere condolences to Janet and the Elder clan.
