My Baka

My third Mom, but all are special ,My best friend, Bible buddy,TV buddy,Baker,My own personal Chef and Caterer,Landscaper,Tree trimer, weed plucker, painter, gardener, organizer, you name it she did it , she loved to do it no matter what. Never complained of hard work as being needed and wanted and loved was all she knew and wanted.

My Baka, my everything. She was always willing to help me out any way she could and she did. She is the Energizer Bunny, always going going going, she never ran out of energy.Just an amazing, 40 year old who loved to keep busy busy busy. A true inspiration. Always willing to help others while smiling.

Grand-Mèmere Mama Baka to all my fur babies and God’s creatures. She understood I needed them as much as they needed me, it is what keeps me going. Being needed. We were the same in many ways and being the same age and we had so much in common and so much to share.

My confidant, Secret best Pal, we chatted almost every day about everything and when it was a secret it was just that and we would only tell God or the Priest. She visited weekly for a chat and always had something for me and I always had something for her” scratch tickets” her favorite.

We laughed, argued and shared stories. The good and the bad, the happy and the sad, you name it we talked about it. Great memories. A graceful dancing Queen, loved her Croatian music and even told me I could not sing!

She said I always talked too much and I said OMG you too…we always laughed. I knew everything about her and she knew everything about me, my families &, friends, every conversation led to another great story. We went over all the pictures on the wall, the fridge. Better than in a photo album where they are forgotten.
Every story started with “Oh My God” let me tell you.

Always happy playing in the dirt. She made Abby’s Garden Abby, Stella & Two-Toney and she smiled the whole time, a perfectionist at everything she did. She laughed when I would say my favorite flower was a Dandelion, she said it’s a “weed”…I said yes yellow and pretty. So she planted beautiful yellow ones in the front for me and the beautiful garden in the back.

She always spoke highly of the four kids she raised, her favorite son Danny, her favorite daughter Kathy and her favorite grand girls/women Nicole and Amanda. Like real families they argued but they stuck together like glue through everything .Her Albert, her favorite Uncle Louis whom she spoke of everyday. All she wanted was to be in her home with her family and not be alone and we prayed and God listened.

I will always have my phone on and waiting for your call anytime as you always did.
Keep smiling and watch over us from above as we will always look up to you in the Heaven’s. Always in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. See you soon. Godspeed Baka, Bless you, Wuv you. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
