I will always remember my aunt as a lively, upbeat lady. She was always willing to lend a hand and was very supportive of my parents and me during my dad's illness and again after he passed.
She persevered in the face of tragedy, and took pleasure from her grandchildren who she frequently spoke to me about. It is sad to witness the passing of a generation, as she was the last of hers.
I'll remember her with fondness.

Very sorry for your loss, we know it's been a long struggle, may she rest in peace. I'm sure you will always have fond memories to keep her in your hearts.

I will never forget my baba. She went through things in her life that I couldn’t even imagine. She handled so much hardship and tragedy. She made it out of these experiences as a kind and sweet grandmother. My twin sister and I have fond memories of her babysitting us as children, playing hide-and-seek, having her cook for us (we were force-fed a lot of mac and cheese & perogies in typical baba fashion - something we always look back on humorously), watching her garden, fixing our clothes, enjoying her presence on holidays, and listening to her stories. It’s hard to believe she’s passed.

Every day I make use of the privileges she gave me. I will never forget her origins and the things she went through to achieve this. I am indescribably grateful. I'm posting this to commemorate that sentiment forever.

Rest peacefully baba. I love you.
