It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ted Pochwalowski. He passed peacefully at home in the presence of his loving wife Diane Pochwalowski (nee Sturmer).

Charished father of Diane Steckley (nee Pochwalowski), father-in-law to Robert Steckley, grand-father to Robert, Ryan, Krysta and Raymond.; great-grandpa to River and Rain.

Ted attended standard Engineering Institute and worked for Jackson Electric and Reliable Sewing; as well as his own company TP Services into his retirement. Music was his passion and in his younger years he played trumpet in various local bands when first immigrating here with his parents from his native borne Poland via Siberia, India, Iran and finally Koja Uganda Africa where they spent the last years of WWII. He enjoyed travelling with his wife and friends and loved spending his summertime at his cottage in Wasaga Beach with family and friends.

During the past several years he faced his illness with valor and grace. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents Jan & Maria and his younger brother Chester.

Ted’s charismatic presence and sense of humor will live on in our hearts forever.
