In Celebration of

Ted Kodama

March 18, 1934 -  June 20, 2020

Passed away at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Theresa for 59 years. Loving father of Derek (Carolina) and Leanne (Grant). Much loved grandfather of Naomi and Alexandra. Born in B.C., Ted was the youngest of eight siblings. He was a hard-working businessman and owner of numerous successful businesses. With his mechanic’s license, Ted and his brothers started the 5K Brothers garage in Etobicoke. He would later branch out on his own opening Tubby’s Restaurant, followed by Renforth Fish & Chips which he owned and operated until his retirement. In his rare time away from his businesses, Ted enjoyed golfing and taking his family on vacation. Wherever he went he was sure to run into one of his customers or someone he knew. He will be fondly remembered for his vibrant personality who enjoyed talking to his neighbours, customers, and family.

A private family gathering has already been held, and cremation has taken place. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Trillium Health Centre, as well as the Mississauga Halton LHIN.

If desired, donations may be made to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
