September 15, 1948 - November 15, 2018

Tadeusz Smietana passed away at the Sunnybrook Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the age of 70. Husband of Regina Smietana. Loving father of Barbara Styczen and Beata Andryszewska. Proud grandfather of Veronica and Daniel Styczen and Mateusz Andryszewski. Tadeusz was the founder and instructor of the Zurakowski Model Flying School; member of the Polish Teachers Association; Knights of Columbus, and Balsa Beavers MAAC Flying Field.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. with Rosary Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga at 11 a.m. A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, volunteers and support staff for their support and care of Tadeusz. If desired, donations may be made to the family or the Sunnybrook Volunteer Association.

My condolences to Ted's family. Ted was a modest, sincere, and active member of our club. He was very active in promoting our hobby, especially among the younger set, and a contingent of his family and friends from several generations were prominent participants in some of our club events, all benefiting from his knowledge, help and enthusiasm.
