T. William (Bill) Griffith

July 5, 1943 - October 5, 2018

In his home on October 5, 2018, Bill passed away peacefully with his wife, sister and family by his side. Beloved husband of Mary, and brother to Susan Kole. Bill will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bill was a wonderful man … thoughtful, kind and respectful of others with a keen sense of humour. He always had a story to tell of his unique “adventures” in day to day life. He was a very sweet man and will be missed terribly by those who loved him.
Much thanks to Dr. J. Zive and Dr. U. Zurawska for their care and compassion, and a special thank you to Andrew Wong for his care and compassion and for never failing to lift our spirits.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 am with a brief visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Mary, I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I remember fondly your loving relationship as husband and wife and your dedication to him as he battled his health issues was nothing short of inspiring. It is the true meaning of love. In the coming days, may you be surrounded by family and friends comforting you in your time of need. And hopefully one day soon, the pain you feel today will ease and only dear, treasured memories will fill your heart and bring a smile to your face. Bill, may you finally rest in Peace.

Mary, so sorry to hear about your news. We recently re connected with Bob and Donna and Bob told us about Bill. We had hoped to make it to the funeral, however, we just can't fit it into our schedule - too many prior commitments.
