Beloved Aunt, Great-Aunt, and family matriarch, passed away at Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home on July 12, 2023 at the age of 101. Predeceased by her husband Kazys, siblings Ona Asevicius (Kestutis, deceased), Algis Vosylius(Irena, deceased), Justinas Vosylius(Myrna), Gene Petrauskas(Jonas, deceased), Juozas Vosylius(Elvyra, deceased); nephew Valentinas Asevicius (Shirley).She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Egle (Marc) Huminilowycz, grand-niece Rachel Asevicius, grand-nephew William Asevicius, and the many others Susana cared for in her life. She will be deeply missed by her dear friend Danute Vaitekunas.
Funeral Mass and visitation will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Road, Etobicoke, on Wednesday, July 19th at 11 a.m. with the family receiving visitors from 10 –11 a.m. Interment St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Labdara Foundation or Church of the Resurrection, in appreciation of the excellent care Susana received. Mask wearing is encouraged during church to ensure the safety of nursing home staff and residents in attendance.
