In Celebration of

Susan Carter

November 24, 1945 -  June 12, 2022

We are grieving the loss of our friend and neighbour, Susan Carter.

Susan passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022, predeceased by her parents, Ethel Mae Carter and Robert Foch Carter and her best “furry” friend, Wally.

Sue was an animal lover, advocate and supporter of animal related charities. She fostered and rescued a number of animals who benefited from her kind and generous heart.

Susan was an accomplished figure skater in her younger years. Her interests included watching tennis, and any TV program that included animals. An ex-ception was the classic TV Show, Designing Women, and we were all forbid-den to call her when it was airing!

Plants and flowers were another of Sue’s favourite things - the giant Easter Cactus at her home is a testament to that. Her green thumb came in handy giving her friends advice on caring for their ailing plants.

Sue was a good friend and neighbour – never hesitant to lend a helping hand or offer her time. She was a gentle soul who favoured harmony over confron-tation. She was honest, loyal and principled.

Susan will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

In the spirit of Susan’s love of animals, donations may be made to an animal related charity of your own choice - this would please her immensely and keep her legacy alive.
