Stephen Sydoryshyn

September 8, 1954 - January 25, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Stephen Sydoryshyn in his home at the age of 64.

Beloved son of the late Mykola and Katherine Sydoryshyn. Dear brother Walter (Diane), uncle to Robert and Terence. Brother of Andre (Anna), uncle to Luba and Lesha. Father to Gregory and Sonya.

Leaves behind loving aunts Anna Guzik, Anastasia Migus, uncles Mike Sidlar, Andy Sidlar, many cousins and a great many dear friends.

Professionally, Stephen (Syd) enjoyed a wonderful career in sales and sales management. After retiring from Unilever he enjoyed golfing in Florida and getting together often with his close friends. He also enjoyed listening to music while relaxing.

Stephen was actively involved in the UYA Mississauga annual charity golf tournament. Over the past 25 years, he had been chairman many times.

He will be dearly missed but will always be remembered, and live forever in our hearts.

I was saddened to hear that Steve passed away. I remember those Sundays when the Sydoryshyn family would come over to visit or my family go to visit them in Toronto. Always a fun time. Steve when passing thru Oshawa would always stop by and say hello to my mom. Always had a kind word, always respectful.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers will be with the family on this difficult day. Вічная Пам'ять

Steve (Syd) worked for Prime Time Video, along with us, many years ago as Sales Manager. He was a great employee and friend to all. He will be sorely missed.
