In Celebration of

Stephen Dohoo

August 10, 1957 -  January 6, 2022

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Stephen on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga Hospital at the age of 64. He is survived by the love of his life, his courageous wife Marie, his niece Erica, many family members and friends that all take comfort in knowing that Stephen is at peace. He is predeceased by his parents Bert and Jean, siblings Lynda and Brian.

Stephen was a bright spark in this world, a kind and compassionate heart, who touched and warmed the hearts of so many. With his mild temperament, he was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity.

A golf fanatic at heart, Stephen was always happy to hit the links. He was proud of his Hole In One at Greystone Golf Club which he was a member of for many years. He also loved cooking, traveling with Marie and a lover of dogs. As President and CEO of Mega Media Inc., he will be missed by the colleagues and friends he made throughout his 25 years in advertising.

We are grateful to our family and friends for their support and prayers throughout this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel (1981 Dundas Street West, east of Erin Mills Parkway), Mississauga on Wednesday, January 12th from 4-7 pm. Registration is required - please click on the link below.

A private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Heart and Stroke Foundation.

We have been friends with Stephen for many years. Stephen was a wonderful friend, so kind and so gentle. Michael and I are so devastated by this news. We had a wonderful dinner with Stephen and Marie in the summer at their home and hoped we would be in Florida this winter together for a few weeks as we have done for years. We had wonderful summer weekends in Huntsville where Lexus (Marie and Stephen’s beloved dog) and our pooch were besties❤️. I can’t believe this has happened so suddenly. Marie we love u and Stephen will be here for you xxoo

I worked with Steve many years ago at Mediacom. We had a lot of fun chats. The last time I saw him was at a Rolling Stones concert at Exhibition Stadium. I am sorry he is no longer with us.
