In Celebration of

Stephen Bunting

June 25, 1985 -  September 7, 2022

Passed away unexpectedly at home, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the age of 37. Cherished son of Jean Stephen and the late Thomas Bunting. Dear brother of Meaghen (Manuel). Adored uncle of Madeleine, Clara, and Amelia. A fun-loving spirit, Stephen was possessed of a wonderful sense of humour and infectious grin. He was an enthusiastic football player and avid fan. He lived life to the fullest, and he will be dearly missed by his family, colleagues, and many friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. For those who wish, donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to Kids Sport Canada or Heart & Stroke Foundation.

I cannot believe you are gone. I will always remember your smart a$$ remarks, that smile, and your work hard play hard mentality. It has only been a week and I miss our talks already. I know you will be watching over us and smiling down.
This is hard on everyone, especially your family. I know how close you were to your mom, sister and nieces, and just please know I am a call away for whatever they need.
May you rest in peace big guy and I will see you on the other side.

Steve was a great co-worker and became a good friend during my time at Allianz. Easy going, fun, and made anyone laugh on the worst of days. Even after I left, we stayed in contact and I’d often get jeering during football season for being a cowboy fan. Lol
I definitely didn’t hear the end of it when he found out I went to An Eagles game with Cowboys gear on. He texted me the day to see if I made it out alive.
Steve….. you were a gentle and beautiful soul. You will be dearly missed by many. Rest In Peace my friend…And like your Eagles ….. Fly!!
