Stephen and I worked together at Deaks in the mid 1970's. He was always a good person to spend time with and enjoyed our frequent travels together to Montreal, New York and Vancouver visiting branch offices. We lost touch as the decades passed by but I have many fond memories of Stephen.

Dear Harvey family:

I wanted to send you my deepest sympathies at this difficult time. Steve was a valued colleague of mine on the anti-money laundering file at CIBC, working with me at the Department of Finance on a number of initiatives. I remember fondly his love for his children, and his grandchildren. He spoke of you often with pride. I also remember his commitment to volunteering and the gift of giving. He was a great colleague.
