It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved sister, Stella, who died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of December 23rd, 2025 at the age of 86.
Stella was a shining light in our family. Growing up side by side, we faced life's challenges and joys together. Stella was a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope to all who knew her. Her deep devotion to her faith and to the Ukrainian Catholic Church was a constant source of guidance and comfort. From her working years through to her final days, she faithfully attended daily Mass.
She travelled extensively, attending religious conferences and pilgrimages around the world, many of them to the Holy Land. Her life was a testament to perseverance, unwavering faith, and unconditional love. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, generosity, steadfast support for those she cared about, and unforgettable memories. With a heart of gold, Stella was always there for family and friends, ready to lend a helping hand. Her spirit and love will live on in our hearts forever.
Stella was the much loved and cherished sister of Irene Worobec and her husband Jack Kellar, and Frances "Fran" Dutcher and her late husband Robert "Bob".
Stella (Stashu) will be deeply missed by her nephews Christopher Worobec, his wife Irene and their children Justin, Kaitlyn, and Laura; Matthew Worobec and his children Callum and Eva; Daniel Worobec; Kevin Dutcher, his wife Lynn and their children Matthew, Eric and Maggie; and Peter Dutcher, his wife Christine and their children Emily and Andrew.
