In Celebration of

Stanley Taylor

June 28, 1931 -  January 3, 2024

Peacefully at home, with his family by his side on January 3, 2024 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gisele (2011). Loving father of Dwayne (Jean), Laurie Ann (Donald), Anne (Daniel), Micheal (Candice), the late Stanley (2022), Belinda (late Bob), the late Roy (Margaret), and Joanie (late Tim). He was the proud grandfather of Holly, Ashley, Taylor, Brooklyne, Olivia, the late Kobe (2016), Alexus and Lily (2011). Adoring great-grandfather of Isaiah and Aliyah. He is survived by his sister Margaret Finley, and joins 15 brothers and sisters who went before him. There never lived a more devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens than Stanley, who claims credit for the original curse of 1967. His family will remember him whenever the puck drops, knowing that as much as he loved his dear Habs, he loved his family even more.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Thursday, January 11th from 6-9 p.m, and Friday, January 12th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 13th at 1 p.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital. Online condolences may be made at turnerporter.ca

I will always remember you letting Anne and I ride in the very back of the station wagon to her games and you playing your oldies saying it was real music.
