So sorry to hear of Stan's passing. It was always a good time when he would come to Manitoba to visit. He was a very wise man that would not hesitate to pass along some of his wisdom to family and friends. Deepest condolences to Larry, Janis and Judy and their families.

Larry, Janis, Judy and the rest of the family,
What an honor and pleasure it was to know Stan.
Such a great man, honestly.
So sorry for your loss, but I trust your memories of him, and the thoughts your friends and family have shared these last few days, will reaffirm how lucky you were to have such an amazing dad.
Hope to see you over the next couple days.
Wayne
PS: Love that picture of him!

Nellie and Stan were the first members of the Sharps (other than Wendy) that I met when Wendy and I first started going out. I think it was February 1974 and Wendy was staying at your house while she attended a Young LIberal event. We had met in January and that was our first date (I think we saw the movie 'Blazing Saddles'). Your mum and dad greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. (I'm sure their phone lines were buzzing later, reporting back to Ottawa where Andy, Dorrie and Wendy all lived).
