In Celebration of

Stanislaw Wasik

October 1, 1944 -  September 13, 2023

It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Stanislaw Wasik at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 2:30 pm after a short and difficult illness. Just two weeks shy of his 79th Birthday he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving children and wife.

Devoted husband to Czeslawa and loving father to Peter, Agnes, Renata, Susie and Ted. He leaves behind, his wife, five children and 13 grandchildren who he adored; Victoria, Kasia, Dominik, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Ashley, Nicholas, Gia, Milena, Ella, Aria, and Kristopher. He is survived by his brothers Fr. Joseph and Marian and sisters Zofia and Kazimiera and his many nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by his father and mother Adam and Aniela Wasik and his two brothers Eugeniusz and Jan Wasik.

Born on October 1, 1944. Stanislaw married his first love Czeslawa in 1969 and started a family that same year. A steadfast worker he and his wife worked together as operations managers for a heavy machinery plant. Both partners in life and work they welcomed five children while also working on Stanislaws parents’ family farm.

He was a pillar of strength who courageously immigrated to Canada in 1987 with his wife and five young children and worked tirelessly to give them all a better life. Nothing brought him more joy than seeing joy in his children’s eyes. A Devout Catholic he regularly attended church and often helped the less fortunate and the homeless.

Between many struggles Stanislaw exemplified to his family that through perseverance, hard work and prayer you can achieve anything. Soon after the family’s arrival to Canada' they planted their roots in central Mississauga. A home that was a steady stream of friends and grandchildren visiting and many celebrations. Both avid gardeners, their home was a tranquil place for both Stanislaw and his wife to sit back and admire the lush green grounds and flowers years after their kids moved out and started their own families.

Stanislaw was never one to miss any celebration. He relished in any event where his family was all together celebrating a milestone or momentous event. He will be greatly missed. His memory will be honored through his children and grandchildren. His life will always be celebrated and the incredible gift it was to everyone.
