Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Tuesday January 15, 2019, at the age of 92. Emigrating from Poland in 1960, Stanislaw has been instrumental in helping many family members and friends to successfully settle and build their lives in Canada. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Wladyslawa (nee Ruminska). Loving father of Jerry (Helen), Krystyna (Robert) and daughter in law Ludwinia. Predeceased by his son Alfred (1998). Cherished Dziadziu of Lydia, Kris, Katherine, Alexander, Alicia and Jason. Much loved great grandfather of Lucas, Aidan, Matthew, Dylan and Ethan. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Sunday January 20, 2019, from 5 – 8 p.m. with vigil prayers at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 21, 2019, at St Casimir’s Roman Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave. at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
