In Celebration of

Sophie Jachymiak

September 25, 1929 -  March 27, 2021

It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and Nana on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frank, Loving mother of Irene (Don) and Christine (John). Cherished Nana of Matthew (Jenna), Nicholas, and Vanessa (Andre). Favourite Great-Nana to Isabella, Charlotte, and Jordan. Dear sister of Henry (Stephanie). Sophie is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Sophie will always be remembered for being an exceptional dressmaker, cook, and baker. She was loved by all who knew her. Gone but never forgotten. Due to all of the present restrictions on gathering, a private family service will take place. If desired, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

Dear Kristine, John, Matthew, Nicholas, Vanessa, Jenna, Andre, Isabel, Charlotte and Jordan.
I am truly sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a lovely woman and was very good to me in my teen years. Mrs. Jachymiak put up with my and Kristine's shenanigans. She was like a second mother to me.
Whenever I have lasagna, I always hope it tastes like the one your mother made, as it was the best!
I will miss her.
My deepest condolences
Love
Lisa
