Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre, in her 100th year.

Beloved wife of the late Petro. Loving mother of Walter (Vera) and the late Steven (Lesia). Adored grandmother to Natalie, Daniel, Anna Sophia (Jeff), Peter (Caroline) and great grandmother to Justis, Tristan, Daniela, James and Evelyn.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk- Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery.

In memory of Sofia, donations can be made to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre or to Unite with Ukraine.

Sofia was an amazing lady with a ton of personality and interesting stories to tell about her life.
I truly adored her and was lucky to have known her and had her in my life. She will be missed dearly. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was so loved by so many, and will live on in our hearts and memories.
