Sister Mary Elizabeth (Rozalia) Szwab (CSSF) Felician Sister

September 7, 1933 - April 3, 2019

Sister Mary Elizabeth (Rozalia) Szwab, in her 86th year, after a short illness, peacefully went home to her God on Wed. April 3, 2019, at Holy Name of Mary Convent in Mississauga. Sister is survived by her sister, Angela, her brother, Stanislaus, and several nieces and nephews.
The Felician Sisters express their sincere gratitude to the Palliative Care Team from Credit Valley Hospital and Care Partners Agency for their support.
Friends may call at Holy Name of Mary Convent, 2165 Mississauga Rd., Mississauga on Friday from 3-9 pm. Wake Service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Convent Chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Felician Sisters or St. Felix Centre.

I thank the Lord most sincerely for having brought Sister Elizabeth into my life as we worked together at Copernicus Lodge. Sister was always full of the Lord's joy and energy, working quietly, constantly with a smile on her face and always ready to make others laugh and bring warmth into their lives. Sister often surprised me with wonderful creations of art, crochet and other handiwork. Although, where she found the time to give of herself to create these little acts of love for me, I never could figure out. Sister Elizabeth was one of the most humble bundles of love that I ever met in my life. I was truly blessed to have had Sister in my life on this earth and I pray that I will be worthy to share my life with her and other loved ones in the next life. With prayers in the Lord, Basia
