In Celebration of

Shu-Cheng Shen 沈淑貞女士

September 6, 1932 -  August 23, 2019

We are thankful to have been touched by the love and kindness of Shu-Cheng during her 86 years. On August 23rd, 2019 Shu-Cheng passed away peacefully with family by her side from complications brought on from her courageous fight with cancer.

Beloved wife of Chung Sun and loving mother to Amy & Freeman (predeceased), Mark & Grace, Tom & Audrey and Phil & Sue. Adored grandmother of Daniel, Melody, Keira, Rachel, Marianne, Ian, Kelvin, Trevor and Christopher.

Shu-Cheng felt blessed to have so many caring people around her. She had a passionate love for her family, friends, Church and God. As a dedicated member of the New Hope Evangelical Christian Church, she was a living example of one of her favourite bible verses – “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” (Ephesians 4:2). She will be most remembered for her laugher, smile, unwavering positivity and being the best cook in the world!

A Service will be held on Saturday August 31st at 11:00am at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON, L5B 1M8. A one-hour Visitation prior to the service will begin at 10:00am. A Reception will be held following the service at Turner and Porter.

In lieu of flowers, and for those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Trillium Health Partners Foundation would be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
