With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Shirley Delores Sherriff on August 30 2025, at the age of 95. Deeply mourned by Scott and Margaret Sherriff, Dean Sherriff and Jane Wuu, grandchildren, Caitlin (Sherriff) and Joshua Dundee, Stephen Sherriff, and Sequoia Sherriff. Also cherished by great-grandchildren Oliver and Charlotte Dundee. Loving Godparent to Donald and Douglas Parsons.

Shirley loved her family and her friends. Mom will be fondly remembered for her love of walking, her beloved Snowbirds, her passion for reading and for her love and knowledge of animals and birds.

Mom was preceded in death by our father Donald Robert Sherriff (2014), and her parents Elsie and Arthur Andrews, and brother Terrence Andrews.

We would like to express our deepest expression of gratitude for the love and kindness provided by the Tall Pines Long Term Care facility where Mom was cared for over the past four years.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Sunday, October 5th from 3-6 p.m. There will be remembrances from the family at 4 p.m.
