I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Forde’s passing. I’ve known her since I was a kid in Grade 10 visiting her house many times as a friend of Darryl and Duane. She and Arnie always welcomed us, fed us, and treated everyone with love and respect. In later years, my son Isaac got to know her because Duane’s son Quincy and Isaac became friends and played hockey against each other. We’d see her at many games cheering BOTH boys on and she and I would always try to find each other at the rink. I will always miss her warm smile and our chats in those cold arenas. Rest in Peace my Dear and my deepest condolences to her entire family. She will be missed.

Shirley was an incredible lady. Wise, authentic, caring, indomitable, and spirited while still down to earth. I so enjoyed our conversations. She was like a 2nd. mother to us in GO Transit Enforcement. I'm sure it was the same for the other departments she interacted with. Condolences to her family and friends on the passing of a wonderful human being. Rest in peace Shirley.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Nan. She was always such a bright figure at the arenas when our sons played together. Her devotion as a grandmother was obvious. I am sending much love to you all. May you find comfort in your memories.
