Unexpectedly, on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the age of 27. Beloved son of Karen and the late George. Adored brother of Caitlin, Tanya and Kyle. Adored nephew of Gwen Harpur, Linda Jensen (Wayne), David Jensen (Carol) and Angela Proud (Ken). He will be lovingly remembered by his many friends and extended family. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Tuesday from
2 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life
Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m.

I worked with Shawn ever since Turtle Jacks Erin Mills opened up. He was kind, caring, had an awesome sarcastic humour, and he was someone I could go to when I was feeling down. We had great memories and I was always excited to see him when I walked into the kitchen. He will truly be missed.

Shawn was a huge mentor for me, and above all else a close friend. I'll always remember the countless nights we stayed up late together during those long restaurant openings. Shawn taught me a lot at an early age and i will always take that knowledge with me wherever I go.
