In Celebration of

Sharon Ann Williams

June 5, 1969 -  January 2, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Williams, who left us unexpectedly at the tender age of 55, on January 2, 2025 - in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. Sharon was a loving mother of two sons, Lloyd and Lyndon [now young men] who she adored, and was the beloved wife of her husband, Francis [Frank].

Originally from London - UK, Sharon moved to Canada in 2022 to start a new chapter, supporting her family while embracing life to the fullest. She loved to travel with her husband and family and over the years had toured several cities and countries around the world taking on new experiences, while also making so many wonderful memories. She also treasured the simple things in life and loved going on morning/evening walks with her dog, soaking in nature, or just out with her many ‘walking friends’ where she would walk and talk while “putting the world to rights”.

Although some might say life hadn’t always been kind to her, she was always kind to life – living it to the fullest. As well as raising a family, Sharon was extremely conscientious and hardworking at any role she embraced throughout her career, regardless of position, and this work ethic together with her warm nature, lead to several work colleagues becoming lifelong friends. Sharon’s compassion and joy will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched during her relatively short journey on earth. Her family and friends will always remember Sharon for her honest conversations, her radiant smile and infectious laughter, as well as the warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought into their lives. May her memory continue to shine in our hearts.

Sharon is survived by her father Neville, mother Janet, brother Gary, sister Lisa and was predeceased by her sister Monique. She also has left behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Sharon will be held at Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Ontario, Canada on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00, with visiting one hour prior to the service, and light food served afterwards. Visiting will also be arranged for close family and friends on the 24th of January between 3-7pm.

Following the Ceremony in Canada, she will be flown back to her final resting place in the UK, where she will be buried on February 6 2025.

My darling Sharon,
I'm so heartbroken that you were called away from us so early. You brought so much joy and light into our lives. You were my rock, my confidant and my very best friend - in the whole world. Over years we have created so many beautiful moments together that will last an eternity. Your memory will forever be cherished and your love will always guide me and our boys. You are, and will always be deeply missed. .

Rest in perfect peace, my love!

To Mum,
On every card I ever wrote to you i would always phrase it "To the Best Mum Ever" and that statement was the truest reflection of your character because you was the greatest mother I could ask for. My life won't ever be the same without your radiant smile and laugh to always jump start my day, no one shouting at me to walk the dog, nobody there to kiss me on my cheek at my big age, and most importantly there's no one there to mother me. I will miss you every day mum you taught me how to stand up for myself and be a fighter just like you were which is why i'm so thankful to have you in my life for 19 years. You were an angel on earth and now you're an angel in heaven. May you rest in peace mama, I'll always and forever love you

To Sharon’s family and loved ones,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Sharon’s kindness and ability to make everyone feel at ease was truly special.

I will always remember how her presence lit up our meetup group gatherings. She had a way of bringing people together and making them feel seen.

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time, and I hope you can find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared.

With deepest sympathy,

Preeti

Sharon was a valued member of my team at the retirement residence and although she was only here for 6 months, she touched many lives - those of her team and the residents. Her sunny smile and amazing sense of humour made it a joy to see her on all her shifts. She will be sadly missed, I really loved having her on my team. I hope that time will help you all to heal this very sudden loss - I will be thinking of you all as you navigate this journey of bereavement. All the best, Angela
