It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Settimio in his 90th year, on Thursday December 2nd, 2021. Beloved husband to his late wife, Rosaria, and cherished, loving father to Sergio and his wife Wilma. Proud and adoring Nonno of Olivia and Lucas. Settimio will be deeply missed by his sister Olga, sisters-in law Gabriella, Assunta, and Giovanna, and brother-in-law Aldo. He is predeceased by his siblings Felice (Gisetta), Vittorio (Teresina), Nicola (Anna), Giustino (Lucia), Anna (Michele), (Angelo), Giuseppe (Maria), and Nunzio and in-laws Panfilo (Maria), Gino, Quintino (Clelia) and Antonia (Ernesto). Settimio was a true gentleman whose kind, contagious smile would always light up the room. He was a selfless provider, devoted husband, and adoring father and grandfather. He will be affectionately remembered for his warm heart and gentle nature. The family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Hospital and Settimio’s caregiver, Mary, for their kindness, compassion, and care. Family and friends may visit at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Glen Oaks Mausoleum.
