Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre in Toronto on August 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Born in Trani, Puglia, Italy on December 11th, 1935, to the late Giuseppe Musicco and Vincenza Brullo. Beloved husband of Heidi (née Wachter) for 63 years. Cherished father of Christian (Penny Mulligan), Jean-Paul (Gerrie), Jonathan (Martha), and Alexandra (Ian Campbell). Proud Papa of Christian Pfaff, Nicholas, Sara, Clare, Mackenzie, Sidney, Heidi & Fionn McIntyre, Kyleigh Rosset and great grandpapa of Colby Pfaff. Lovingly remembered by 7 surviving siblings Tom & Shirley, Rosemary (late) & Fred, Frank & Liz, Ida & Frank, Leon, Adriana & John, Anna & Dave, Cosimo (late) & Victoria, John & Chris and 22 nieces and nephews.

Through his vocation as a hairstylist to the Toronto elite, he developed life-long friendships and respected business relationships. He was a hard-working, self-made man, self-taught, intelligent, elegant, cultured and had natural class. He was also a watercolour artist, opera aficionado, CBC Radio listener, chef, daily walker, Globe and Mail & NY Times reader and TTC patron. He devoted many years of service to St. Andrew’s Out of the Cold Program helping to provide meals for others. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family in Toronto, throughout North America, and around the world.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to drop in to celebrate Sam’s life between 2-6pm on Tuesday September 5th at the Boulevard Club www.boulevardclub.com.
