Sandra Pereira

October 12, 1972 - October 24, 2021

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sandra Marina Pereira on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the age of 49. Beloved daughter of Raul Marques Pereira and Maria Georgina Pereira. Cherished sister of Rui and Helena (Richard), much loved aunt to Gabriel, and auntie to furry Milo. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family in Canada, Portugal, Sao Miguel, Bermuda, and Massachusetts.

With the warmth of sunshine, the intensity of a firecracker and a welcoming smile, Sandra always made her presence felt. She embraced the world with open arms, scuba diving the depth of the Great Barrier Reef, exploring the hidden corners of Machu Picchu, and conquering the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Dedicated to her profession, applying her development skills to the field of marketing, she was highly regarded by many of her colleagues, who will miss her energy and enthusiasm.

Sandra supported many causes, and believed in the wellness of those less fortunate. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to donate to a charity of your choice in her memory.

It’s still so hard to believe because Sandra will always be remembered as someone bursting with life, laughs and smiles. An adventurous spirit and bubbly personality. She always stayed in touched and reached out to family far and wide- helping us all feel connected m even if we weren’t in Ontario. She was simply the best and will be dearly missed.
