It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sandra Downie Forsyth. At the age of 74, Sandra passed peacefully on April 21, 2024. She was surrounded by family and will be missed dearly.

Sandra was daughter of the late John and Sheila Young. A wonderful sister to Irene, Sheila, Janice (Joe), late John Young and Yvonne. Sandra was an aunt to her 6 nieces and nephews here in Canada Aaron, Steve, Brad, late Michelle, Ryan and Andrew. She was also an aunt to 16 nieces and nephews across the pond in Scotland Sandra was the most devoted mother and Nana. Her children Owen (Lisa), David (Andrea) and Julie (Bill) will cherish her memory alongside her 8 grandchildren, Colton, Lucas, Evan, Fiona, Riley, Kyle, Abigail and Cameron. Sandra was a loving wife to Reg whose beautiful union was admired by all who knew them.

Sandra's loving nature was one of a kind. All who knew her instantly felt her kindness. Always smiling, always positive, always seeing the best in everyone and everything.
Her outward beauty made an instant impression, but it was her inner beauty that endured. To know her was to love her and to be loved by her was truly a gift.

Sandra will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She touched everyone that met her. May she rest in peace and may her bright light forever shine.
