In Celebration of

Waclawa Teresa Sadowski

March 30, 1934 -  February 14, 2024

Waclawa Teresa Sadowski passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at Cawthra Gardens at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Kazimiersz and loving mother to Margaret Sadowski. Devoted grandmother to Caroline O’Brien, Stephanie Gangl and Michelle Gangl. Proud great- grandmother to Maeve O’Brien and Liam O’Brien.

Born in Poland, Teresa immigrated to Canada in 1965 and remained in Toronto all her life. Her generous spirit was felt by all who knew her. She welcomed and supported extended family who followed her to Canada and stayed closely connected with her 5 brothers and sisters who remained in Poland. She enjoyed tending to her large vegetable garden and cooking for her loved ones. Her greatest joys came from seeing happiness in others. She will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) on Thursday March 7th from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8:15 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 8th at 9:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga. Interment will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga. Reception to follow at Orbit Restaurant, 2025 Dundas St E. Mississauga.

May she rest in eternal peace.
