In Celebration of
Ryszard Bielecki
December 1, 1956 -
July 12, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our wonderful, exemplary husband, father, grandfather, friend, son, and brother.
Ryszard is survived by his wife, Wieslawa Bielecka, daughters Alexandra Bielecki and Urszula (Greg) Cann, grandchildren Sophia and Sebastian Cann, and mother Wladyslawa Bielecka.
Ryszard passed on July 12th, 2022 at 11 pm after an 8-month long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Ryszard was a determined fighter, who handled his illness with acceptance and grace. He did not fear for he trusted in God’s plan.
Throughout Ryszard’s illness and in the hours leading up to his passing, he was surrounded by the deep love and care of his wife and daughters. He went into God’s kingdom with a beautiful, calm last breath.
The family, friends, and colleagues Ryszard left behind will forever continue to speak of Ryszard’s faith, love, loyalty, kindness, reliability, guidance, handiness, wisdom, intelligence, and open-mindedness.
We will love, cherish, and honour him for the rest of our lives.

God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
