My mother, Norma Haney (deceased Oct 2016), was a friend and colleague of your mom's. I adored her too and enjoyed the laughter shared by mom, Thelma and Mrs. Carolan.
She wrote me a thank you letter after attending MY wedding because she enjoyed the music so much.
My thoughts are with you all.
Ruth was a classy lady who had a life well lived, she will be missed.
I never had the privilege of meeting her but can see her positivity and light lives on in her granddaughter my friend Stephanie. May the whole family find peace at this sad time.
Smiling, impeccably dressed, kind, fun, interesting, interested ...that is how I will remember the lovely Auntie Ruth. How lucky are we to have an amazing role model like her. Auntie Ruth’s memory lives on in her fabulous family. Condolences and much love to Mary Claire, Paul and family.
When someone as full of life and vibrant as "Nana" passes away, however old in years they may be, we can only think it is too soon. We expect them, somehow, to live forever.
Jeff, Joan (and several of her boyfriends) and shared such great times with Nana Ruth in so many marvelous family celebrations and will always remember her with great fondness.
We want to extend our deepest sympathy to all who loved her and have to suffer such a loss, particularly her family. She was quite a lady!
