In Celebration of

Rosalia da Costa

August 16, 1924 -  March 25, 2023

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home, on March 25th., at the age of 98.

She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, aunt, teacher and friend to many.

She is pre-deceased by her loving husband of over 70 years, Arthur. She was an amazing mother to Norman, Leonor, Cathy (Ken), the late Manuel, Anne (Tom), and Marian.

Rosalia was a proud grandmother of her grandchildren, Damien (Tina), Miriam (Allan), Christa (Terence), Stephen (Cynthia), Rebecca, Aaron (Emily), and Jeanette (Eric). She was thrilled to welcome 12 great grandchildren into her life.

Rosalia was a talented cook, knitter, and teacher. She had a kind heart, deep faith and was a generous person, always looking for ways to help people.

She will be missed by friends and family, however she will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest in peace.

Rosalia and Arthur met my parents in the 50’s.
They adored one another and did many things together.
A very close and beautiful friendship was so easy to enjoy with them. Both being so warm hearted, kind, easy going, having many a conversation about anything and everything, and always being there for my father, especially when my mom passed at the age of 38.
We will always remember Rosalia as a beautiful woman inside and out… so devoted to all her family beyond words…we will miss you and love you always❤️

DearRosalia has left the world without her beautiful presence. She had a loving way of giving of herself to everyone. May her journey home to her Father be peaceful and gentle.
