Sincerest condolences to Ron's family. I have fond memories of Ron from our time working together at Canadore.
My deepest condolences to Robin and Kelly.
Ron was liked and respected by everyone at Canadore who knew him and most knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a deep commitment to his students. And he was most welcoming and helpful to a new, inexperienced, and scared faculty member (me) in 1971.
While I didn't golf a lot with Ron I did often enough to designate him "the most honest golfer ever."
He was a fine gentleman.

Condolences to Robin and family and Kelly in your loss.
Ron was a wonderful gentleman and his friendly nature and happy demeanour was infectious.
He is missed.
I became friends with Ron and his family in our retirement years playing golf in North Bay. Ron was a kind and honorable man and a good golfer. He was skilled both academically and practically and could offer an in-depth discussion on a wide range of topics. Ron loved his family and had a wide circle of friends. Barb and I will miss him and we were lucky to have shared his friendship.
I worked with Ron for many years and he was a true gentleman and very kind man. I learned a great deal from him. He was a pioneer at Canadore and he worked very hard for the students and for the faculty. He was an example to everyone around him. God bless the family with good memories of a life well lived.
