In Celebration of

Ronald Brodawka

September 2, 1942 -  October 11, 2019

After a short but aggressive battle with cancer, Ron sadly passed away on Friday, October 11th, 2019 at the age of 77. His wife of 52 years, Susan and his daughter Jennifer were by his side. The son of Walter and Rose Brodawka, Ron is survived by his sister, Helen Hyjek. Ron studied Mechanical Engineering at Ryerson University and worked in his chosen field, HVAC, until his retirement 10 years ago. His children and their partners, Jennifer (John) and Jeffrey (Cayla) meant the world to him and he was so proud of his four grandchildren; Willow, Sam, Emerson and newly born Harlow. Ron loved to travel, ski and golf and he had fond memories of times spent with his many cherished friends. Always fun to be around, an avid reader and gardener, Ron’s sly sense of humour will be missed by all who loved him dearly.

Dear Sue, Jenni, Jeff and families. Our heart felt sadness at the news of Ron’s passing. We had great discussions this Sunday about our early days with Ron & Sue in icy cold arenas yelling our support for Jeff and Sean’s hockey games. Those were great memories. Ron was a man who always loved his family, a great dad with a great laugh. May he Rest In Peace and our sincere sympathy to Sue and family.
