In Celebration of

Roman Theodore Bratasiuk

October 20, 1946 -  December 17, 2020

After a courageous battle, Roman passed away at his residence with his loving family by his side. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Irene. Cherished brother of Oksana (Bob) and Hanya (Andy). Roman will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Damian, Andrea, Stephanie, and Daniel.
Roman was a dedicated educator and a highly regarded participant in the Canadian Bandurist Capella for many years. An avid sportsman, Roman could often be found on a volleyball court both as a player and a coach, enjoying downhill skiing or watching football on Sundays. The consummate car enthusiast, Roman attended countless car shows where he proudly showcased his 1971 Javelin AMX. When he wasn’t taking apart and rebuilding car engines, Roman served as the Treasurer for the Northern Ramblers (AMC) Car Club of Canada. His family and many friends will miss him greatly.

A private family service will take place. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

You were certainly one of a kind. I'll remember your smile, laugh, jokes and tremendous love of our Capella. I leave an appropriate quote with the word music:
The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains.....
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.
