It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberto Libardo, at the age of 71. Known to most as Bert, he passed away peacefully on Dec 9th, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to many.

Bert was born on March 7th, 1953 in Iloilo City, to Bienvenido and Felicidad. He immigrated to Canada in the seventies, serving over 25 years of employment with the City of Toronto and settled down with his wife of 41 years Vinilda in Mississauga.

Bert is survived by his wife, Vinilda Libardo, his children Jennifer Cabral (Kevin), and Oliver Libardo (Patricia), his dearest grandchildren, Dustin, Kyle, Naomi, and Max, his brother Carlos (Anafe) and sister Norma, his nephews BenJohn, Christopher, and his niece Gloria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bienvenido and Felicidad, his sister Gloria, and his brother-in-law Johann.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Ian Anderson House, Dr. Kuhlmann, and Dr. Tjan for their tremendous support during his brief battle with Cancer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ian Anderson House Foundation, in memory of Roberto.
