May 25, 1932 - June 20, 2019

Born May 25, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario. Died peacefully at home in Port Credit, Ontario on June 20, 2019. Son of Ralph and Ada Whiting. Born and raised in Toronto with sisters Maurine and Ruth, who predeceased their brother. Dearly beloved by wife Christine, sons David (Debbie), Alan (Leona) and Doug (Jeanne). Adored grandfather of Sean and Ryan in Bermuda and Michelle, Christopher and Matthew in Ontario and great grandson Asher in Ontario. Cherished godfather of Robyn Barbary and her parents Linda and Ken Merbler. Funeral service will be held at First United Church on Saturday June 29, 2019 at 11:00 am.

I have fond memories of my visit to Bermuda years ago and spending time with Bob and Christine. I especially remember how much Bob loved to sail and we went out often. He always had a radiant smile and you could see how much he adored Christine. What a wonderfully long journey the two of them have had together filled with love and laughter. Sending my condolences to his entire family on the loss of this man that meant so much to so many.

Profoundly blessed to have been graced by Bob and Christine. Their unmatched fondness, love and admiration for each other is something I have only ever seen in my parents and I know this will bring comfort to Christine in the trying days ahead.
