Robbie and I were childhood friends, as my mother and Robbie's were very close in the 1950's and 60's in Alderwood. Robbie lived right around the corner from me, and he and I were boyhood pals, pretty tight together, 1962 to 64. With Robbie there were always "adventures"; exploring["up the creek"], toboganning["the 9th hill"], going up to the lacrosse box, etc. It was NEVER dull with Rob! Then in 65 we both entered high school and drifted apart, each to his own direction. But we'd see each other in passing, and I was aware of the major events in Rob's life. I was honoured to be a member of his wedding party years later, and I am shocked and saddened that my old friend has gone.
Thank you for the memories Robbie
I remember my father and you hanging out at Dave Roaches pool parties. You were the first of his friends to comfort me when he passed I’ll always remember you
One of a kind sadly gone way too soon.
