November 21, 1947 - December 16, 2024

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday December 16, 2024.

Beloved husband of Susan. Loving father of David, Jane (Chris). Doting grandfather to Sam.

He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Elaine Naylor, Alan Patton, brother in law John Conley, nieces & nephews Bradley, Jessica, Derek, Lindsay, Alex, Nick & Johncito. Robert had a very successful & fulfilling career as a lawyer for Imperial Oil.

In his spare time he dedicated his time to watching, coaching & playing hockey. Aside from hockey Robert greatly enjoyed the outdoors and was a generous supporter of the SPCA, Canadian Wildlife Federation, The Bruce Trail Association, Nature Conservancy of Canada, & Doctors without Borders. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Turner & Porter Funeral Directors.

I was so saddened to learn of Rob's death. I haven't seen him since he moved from the street some years ago, but he was always one who would lend a hand. He was instrumental in fighting issues that involved the OMB. His pleasant demeanour and sense of humour will be remembered. Condolences go to Sue, David , Jane and B.I.L. John, who painted the exterior of my house (and John, the paint job is still holding up all these years later).
