In Celebration of

Robert Oswald

August 12, 1930 - January 6, 2025

Robert (Bob) John Anton Oswald was born on August 12th 1930, in London Ontario to Arthur (Oswald and Loretta Oswald (Perry).
He passed away peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 94 on January 6, 2025.
Bob was predeceased by sister Wilhemina (Billy), and brothers Gordon and Kenneth. .
Bob is survived by his daughter Roberta Marie Oswald (Betty Hrycyshyn), son, Arthur John Oswald (Heather Kenney) and son, Robert John Oswald (Theresa Buck), grandchildren, RJ Edmund Oswald, Tyler James Joseph Oswald, Connor Michael Oswald and Victoria Louise Oswald. Bob is also survived by nieces and nephews: Joan, Patricia, Michael and Mary, and as Great Uncle to Julia and Jonathan.

Bob had a storied career of over 40 years with Cooper Canada Ltd. and more importantly as a pioneer of leather goods in Canada as Vice President of Buxton Leather Goods. Bob remained active well into his 70's as a V.P. and consultant with E.H. Ferree and H.A. Sheldon Leather Goods.
Beyond his career he was a friend to many and will be fondly remembered for his infectious personality, grand sense of humour and simply: a sharp dressed man

In lieu of flowers please donate to The Alzheimer Society of Toronto. A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks at a date to be announced soon at Turner & Porter 2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga, ON L58 1M8 Canada.
